So, I know that I normally don't post the show notes, but I figured that I needed to include a photo of Pawel Poljankski's legs that he shared on Instagram after Stage 16 since we talked about them so much:
Also, to fix two errors. The first error: Poljanksi's on the Bora-Hansgrohe team, not Team Sky. Sorry about that. (They both have black kits...) If you want to see the legs of someone from Team Sky, though, here's a tweet from them from 2014 featuring the legs of Tour champ Chris Froome:

While I'm posting photos, here's a shot of Eliud Kipchoge crossing the finish line after running 26.2 miles in 2:00:25 in Monza. She can see the aerodynamic beads on his shorts, his jersey, his arm covers, and on the tape on his legs:
The second error: the term "hypervolemia." I used it to describe the increased volume of blood in the body of a trained athlete, and that's really not correct. Rather, hypervolemia is used as a proper team to describe a medical condition deriving from too much fluid in the blood. It can cause a variety of issues, including heart failure. Needless to say, this is not the same as the normal and desirable increase of blood volume that results from training. I apologize for my confusion.
Thanks for listening!
